Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Multimodality Radiology Technician PRN to join our team at Rio Grande Regional Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing radiological procedures and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures in multiple areas, including diagnostic, OR, and fluoroscopy
  • Collaborate with physicians and other disciplines to make decisions regarding patient care
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff
  • Assist physicians in diagnostic procedures
Requirements
  • Education and training from an accredited radiology technology program or equivalent
  • Valid Texas Department of Health licensure as a Certified Medical Radiological Technologist in the state of Texas (CMRT)
  • A.R.R.T. certification required after 12 months of hire
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • One year of previous experience in a hospital environment preferred
