KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Care Management.

Conduct comprehensive medical histories for patients referred by various healthcare providers; perform thorough physical assessments; order necessary laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations;
Clinical Management & Development.

Formulate preliminary diagnoses for various medical and surgical conditions; collaborate with attending physicians to devise treatment plans that ensure optimal patient care; coordinate with specialists and contribute to research initiatives;
Patient Engagement.


Engage regularly with patients, their families, and support services, ensuring effective communication that demonstrates empathy, understanding, and problem-solving skills.

This interaction involves educating, gathering information, and providing counseling.
Medication Management.

Prescribe medications, issue orders, perform clinical procedures, and respond to urgent changes in patient conditions.
Documentation & Record Keeping.


Gather detailed and accurate patient histories, review medical records, conduct physical examinations, and document all relevant information to create comprehensive medical assessments and treatment plans for assigned patients.


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

MASTER'S DEGREE:
Nursing (Mandatory)

CERTIFICATIONS:
NP - Nurse Practitioner Certification - New York State Education Department (NYSED), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


M - Medium Work - Involves exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or bending.

SALARY RANGE:
$95,000 - $150,000.00

The stated salary range reflects a good faith estimate of the potential base salary for a successful full-time candidate. This may be adjusted in the future and is eligible for additional compensation components.
