We are seeking an experienced Appointment Scheduler to join our team at MediQuest Staffing Inc. As a Medical Scheduler, you will play a vital role in managing patient appointments in a fast-paced medical call center environment.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant or in a medical office environment. They will be fluent in both English and Spanish and possess certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent). Additionally, they should have proficiency in NextGen EMR or similar electronic medical records systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently schedule and manage patient appointments in a high-volume medical call center environment.
  • Verify insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations.
  • Process referrals and coordinate with healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical records system.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant or in a medical office environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in NextGen EMR or similar electronic medical records systems.
  • High School Diploma.
