Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Real Estate Attorney to enhance our client's legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial real estate transactions and leasing, along with exceptional communication and legal writing abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert legal counsel on various commercial real estate issues, including transactions, leasing agreements, property management, and dispute resolution.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate leases and associated documentation.
3. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support informed decision-making and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
4. Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive legal support and advice.
5. Identify potential legal risks proactively and develop strategies to mitigate them.
6. Stay updated on changes in real estate law and assess their implications for the organization.

Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a real estate attorney, particularly in commercial real estate.
3. Admission to the New York state bar.
4. In-depth knowledge of real estate law, especially in commercial leasing.
5. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clarify complex legal matters effectively.
6. Proficient legal writing skills, capable of drafting and reviewing diverse legal documents.
7. Strong interpersonal abilities, fostering relationships with clients and colleagues.
8. Analytical mindset with strategic thinking capabilities to resolve complex issues.
9. High standards of professionalism and ethics.
10. Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
