Elevo's After School Program Facilitator Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an After School Program Facilitator. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about working with children and has experience in education or a related field.

About the Role

This position will involve leading social-emotional learning and enrichment activities for TK/K-6th grade students, including STEAM, music, and Lego. You will be responsible for motivating students through engaging lesson plans, assisting with homework completion and snack distribution, and ensuring student safety during outdoor activities. We are looking for someone who can work effectively with staff and embrace professional development opportunities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have experience working with elementary and/or middle school kids, be able to implement engaging lesson plans, and support kids' behavioral management needs. We are looking for someone who is approachable, empathetic, patient, and able to build trust with kids. Additionally, you should be comfortable utilizing online platforms for training and resources, and be able to collaborate seamlessly with school administrators, parents, and fellow coaches.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be eligible to work in the United States, complete and pass a Live-Scan background check, and TB screening. A minimum of 48 college credits or willingness to take and pass a para-educator exam is also required. Previous experience in education, coaching, child development, or other child-focused experiences is strongly preferred. You should also have reliable transportation and be willing to follow COVID-19 protocols outlined by the school.

Estimated Salary

$20 per hour based on location and industry standards.
