About the Role

Exact Sciences is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Cancer Prevention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and revenue by establishing strong relationships with healthcare professionals and delivering diagnostic solutions to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis and Insights
    • Analyze local healthcare ecosystems and market landscapes to identify opportunities to enhance the system of care and deliver improved patient outcomes through integration of Exact Sciences' solutions.
    • Develop deep insights into customer needs and preferences to inform business and account plans.
  • Business and Account Planning
    • Develop and implement business and account plans to increase visibility and awareness of Exact Sciences' products and maximize opportunities and sales growth.
    • Lead the implementation of these plans to devise and implement customer-specific pre-and post-call engagement approaches that evaluate and address customer needs.
  • Customer Engagement and Education
    • Inform, educate, and enable target physician and stakeholder groups about Exact Sciences' products and value propositions to equip them to make informed decisions about treatment choices and patient resources.
    • Highlight the importance of screening to customers, drawing on approved clinical studies and marketing aids.
  • Account Management and Growth
    • Drive business growth by focusing on customers with the highest potential and proactively initiating connections to uncover unmet needs and opportunities.
    • Seek regular feedback from customers about their experience, service, satisfaction, and perceived value of working with Exact Sciences.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate and coordinate with key internal stakeholders to develop and execute strategies, enhance customer satisfaction, improve patient outcomes, and business opportunities for Exact Sciences.
    • Communicate a clear and compelling description of customer needs and opportunities to internal stakeholders to mobilize resources and shape solutions to address current and future customer needs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
    • 2+ years of previous sales, inside sales, or account management experience, or 1+ year of previous sales experience plus 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting or other field related to the essential duties of the role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including strong questioning and listening skills.
    • Confident, professional, and credible presence.
    • Strong presentation skills: ability to effectively convey concepts in a clear, concise, and professional manner through telephone and face-to-face interactions.
    • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.

Exact Sciences is proud to offer a competitive salary range of $79,000 to $118,000, bonus eligibility, and company stock upon hire and annually.
