Job Summary:

As a Health Index Specialist at Spectrum Health Services, Inc, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of patient medical records. Your primary responsibility will be to index and assign scanned documents to the correct patient records, utilizing clinical terminology and workflows to ensure precision. You will also be responsible for recognizing and utilizing clinical terminology, workflows, and correlating to insure accuracy of indexing/assigning scanned documents to the proper patient record. Additionally, you will make recommendations for workflow modifications to optimize automation and utilize indexing training and support systems to effectively interact with other IDL users. You will also identify processes that lead to paperless workflows and perform assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices. Establishing effective relationships with co-workers and other patient care providers is also essential to ensure optimal patient care. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for healthcare, this role may be the perfect fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:
