About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Augusta University's Department of Juvenile Justice Health Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality medical services to our patients, utilizing your expertise to evaluate and treat a variety of healthcare needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic medical services, including ambulatory care, to meet the healthcare needs of our patients.
  • Monitor quality improvement programs related to patient care.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Nurse and Physician to ensure seamless delivery of healthcare services.
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant in the State of Georgia.
  • 2 years of previous experience in a clinical setting, with a preference for 1 year of experience in a correctional setting.
  • Excellent organizational and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Good physical and mental health, with the ability to lift 50lbs and perform BCLS certification.
  • Security Clearance by the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice.
