Position Overview:
The Aquatic Program Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the training and scheduling of certified lifeguards to ensure coverage for both credit and noncredit class sessions, as well as open recreational periods. This position also entails performing essential lifeguarding responsibilities and aiding in the organization of pool-related events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct lifeguarding duties for approximately 10-15 hours weekly.
- Assist in the coordination of pool usage and lifeguard scheduling for both Harford Community College and external organizations.
- Support the planning and execution of special aquatic events tailored for students and staff.
- Perform routine safety checks and cleaning inspections of the pool and its equipment to minimize risks and enhance the safety and comfort of all patrons.
- Complete necessary documentation and maintenance requests for cleaning and upkeep.
- Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and safety regulations for both pool personnel and visitors.
- Collaborate closely with credit, noncredit, and recreational departments to optimize pool utilization.
- Undertake specific tasks or functions unique to the role as directed by the supervisor.
