Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of this role is to utilize various hand and bench tools to remove sharp edges and burrs from completed components, ensuring they are ready for final inspection. Additionally, you will set up and operate equipment for product identification marking on finished components using tools such as scribing machines, laser marking machines, hand scribers, metal stamps, or chemical etching devices. Other tasks may be assigned by your supervisor as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquiring skills in general deburring and the disassembly & reassembly of parts and assemblies.
  • Gaining knowledge in crane operation and rigging for the lifting and handling of larger components.
  • Learning to perform parts marking using the necessary tools and equipment.

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or confirmed experience from past employment.
  • Ability to read and interpret part drawings.
  • Proficiency in setting up and utilizing all BSI marking equipment.
