Psychiatrist Opportunity in Anchorage, Alaska

Providence Medical Group is seeking a Psychiatrist with expertise in substance use treatment to join its new Crisis Stabilization Center in Anchorage, Alaska.

This innovative facility will provide comprehensive services to adult patients experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges through two distinct programs.

The first program offers immediate intervention in a trauma-informed setting, diverting patients from hospital emergency departments and providing 23-hour crisis stabilization.

The second program provides up to 7-days of inpatient care for patients who require additional support.

As a Psychiatrist at the center, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of a groundbreaking behavioral health initiative, making a lasting impact on the community's overall health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychiatric care and treatment to adult patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
