Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse 2 to join our team at the Women & Children's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, managing complex patients with minimal assistance.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Identify personal learning needs to stay current in your area of practice, perform advanced skills independently, and assist others in developing their skills.
  • Professional Relationships/Leadership: Demonstrate leadership traits that contribute to positive patient outcomes through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Quality Improvement/Research: Participate in quality improvement activities and expand your understanding of the research process and its application to nursing practice.
Requirements
  • Patient Group Knowledge: Possess and demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment, or care for patients of all ages.
  • Common Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records, demonstrate positive customer service, and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Credentials: Possess a current Registered Nurse license, Basic Life Support certification, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within one year of hire.
Education and Experience
  • Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Experience: One year of RN experience.
Work Schedule and Location

This is a pro-rata.9 FTE position working nights at the Women & Children's Hospital in Charleston, WV.
