Job Description

At Marathon Petroleum Corporation, we are committed to providing a safe and efficient work environment for our employees. As a Transportation Professional, you will play a critical role in the delivery of petroleum products to regional terminals, refineries, and various other locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-trip inspections on equipment to ensure compliance with MPC policy and Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Drive a tank truck/trailer or tractor/trailer to transport product in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Obey all applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as MPC and site-specific standard operating procedures.
  • Communicate all incidents, including safety and environmental concerns, according to company procedures.
Requirements
  • Active Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record and provide consent to company for review of driving record(s).
  • Pass required drug and alcohol screening(s).
  • Complete DOT physical and maintain current medical card.
  • Pass three-year DOT safety background check and seven-year criminal background check.
