Kettering Health Transportation Specialist

Kettering Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Transporter to join our team. As a Patient Transporter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients within our healthcare system.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the basic needs of patients are met during transport
Arrive on time at patient pick-up locations
Ensure patients are left at the appropriate destination
Complete patient care and billing reports
Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Operational Duties:
Perform regular assigned shift duties
Maintain cleaning standards of station(s), vehicle(s), and equipment
Complete detailed Incident Reports and Accident Reports, in a timely manner, at the request of management
Use appropriate terminology and tone and follow all radio communication procedures
Drive company vehicles in accordance with company driving policies
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
First Aid certification, preferred
CPR certification, preferred
Valid drivers license, with no more than four (4) points, and approval by company insurance provider
