We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at the Women's Health Clinic on our Southdale Campus in Edina, MN. This role is approved for 80 hours every two weeks and is benefit eligible.
Key Responsibilities:- Support quality patient- and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high-standard functions within a care team.
- Collect information and documents to support the patient visit.
- Promote cohesion with all members of the health care team and maintain complete, timely, and accurate clinical documentation for each patient.
- Deliver care as delegated by the authorized practitioner to assigned population or individual patient.
- Prioritize work based on patients' acuity, available resources, patient/support network preferences, provider schedule, in collaboration with other care team members.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- Ambulatory Care Experience.
- AAMA Certification.
