Quality Assurance Supervisor

Job Summary
This role is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the plant's Quality systems to ensure compliance with regulatory, federal, and local laws. The Quality Assurance Supervisor will identify and achieve facility Quality KPI's through corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support production floor adherence to all QA program and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve compliance and ensure adherence.
- Plan, define, and direct the site auditing control program to ensure compliance to all procedures, and policies, GMP standards, Kraft Heinz requirements, and regulatory, federal and local laws.
- Train, mentor, and lead site QA and Production team to ensure program goals are met.
- Monitor and maintain plant QCMS/KHMS program by complying to current Kraft Heinz and International Audit (FSSC/ISO) standards.
- Perform follow-ups to non-conformances found and provide responses as appropriate.
- Responsible for Hold/Release documentation and dispositioning of products.
- Assist validation studies for all CCPs, OPRPs and other significant controls in accordance with approved methodologies.
Requirements
- Shown history of technical quality or production knowledge of policies & programs in Food or relevant manufacturing settings.
- Education or Operational/On the job knowledge of Food Science, Food Production, Manufacturing Quality/Operations, or other relevant environments.
- Strong leadership, technical, communication and interpersonal skills required along with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of quality or production systems, procedures, & policies. Handle multiple assignments, develop work plans, & prioritize.
- Knowledge of statistical processes.
- Planning and organizing skills.
Work Environment & Schedule
This position is considered a 2nd shift position with a flexible timeline that can be amended (1-9pm/ 2-10pm/ 3-11pm).
This role requires to be out on the production floor which is a fast-paced environment.
Additionally, this role requires that you are able to work additional hours or infrequently weekend hours if needed.
