About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Fairfield. As a key member of our Property Management Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment communities, ensuring the comfort and happiness of our residents.

Job Responsibilities
  • Property Maintenance:
    • Perform routine maintenance repairs, schedule and supervise work as needed.
    • Maintain a flexible schedule to respond to after-hours emergencies.
  • Operations:
    • Manage open service repair requests using Yardi property management software.
    • Create and manage budgets while maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Team Management & Customer Service:
    • Lead and motivate a diverse property maintenance team.
    • Provide constructive feedback and support staff development.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' hands-on experience in apartment or building maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.
  • HVAC-EPA (Type II) certification required.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend budgets.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Experience with Yardi or other property management accounting software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay Information

$30.52 - $39.68 per hour, non-exempt position.
