Job Summary
As a Per Diem Primary Care Physician at Kinwell, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with acute and chronic conditions. Your duties will include:

  • Providing counseling and education to patients and their families regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up recommendations.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, specialists, pharmacists, and nurses, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Performing minor outpatient procedures, adhering to Premera credentialing/privileging policy.
  • Completing timely and accurate documentation.
  • Providing consultation services to other clinic providers via phone, video, or in-person.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A current license to practice medicine in the state of Washington by hire date.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Geriatrics.
  • An unrestricted DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority.
  • The ability to be credentialed under Medicare.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMRs), preferably Epic.
  • Excellent critical thinking, flexibility, problem-solving, and communication skills.
