**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a creative and motivated engineer to enhance our refrigeration product development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in refrigeration product development. The primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and lead engineering projects, resulting in innovative and high-quality refrigeration products.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop innovative ideas and concepts for refrigeration products.
- Research new technologies to expand our intellectual property portfolio.
- Collaborate with international engineering teams to develop concepts and integrate them into our product plan.
- Hands-on approach to developing concepts, prototyping, and lab testing to demonstrate feasibility.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- 5-10 years' experience in refrigeration product development.
- Active experience using 3D solid modeling software.
- Good knowledge of engineering product development processes.
- Experience with new and emerging technology identification and development.
- Experience with innovation processes and idea generation.
- Familiarity with open innovation and collaboration in an engineering environment.
- Hands-on ability to prototype and experience with rapid prototyping.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks appropriately.
- A self-starter and self-disciplined in accomplishing tasks.
- Strong desire to learn with ability to be self-taught.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Structural and thermal simulation skills.
- Familiarity with patents and technology trends in refrigeration.
- Familiarity with plastics part manufacturing and metal part fabrication processes.
- Experience using consumer insights to drive product development.
- Active experience using SolidWorks for 3D solid modeling.
- Working knowledge of intellectual property and protection.
