Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR professional to join our team as a Director of Human Resources at Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Recruit, select, and onboard new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Manage employee relations, including resolving conflicts and addressing employee concerns.
  • Administer benefits programs, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) and other retirement plans.
  • Conduct compensation analyses and make recommendations for salary adjustments and bonuses.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Manage workforce planning, including forecasting staffing needs and developing strategies to meet those needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including OSHA and workers' compensation.
  • Develop and maintain employee communication and engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement departmental budgets.
Requirements
  • College degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a hospitality or club setting.
  • California experience a plus.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment

This is an exempt position that requires the ability to lift 10 pounds and sit/stand for extended periods of time. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, and squatting are required.

Pay Rate

This position ranges from $160,000 to $195,000 annually, based on experience.
