Job Overview

As a Logistics Warehouse Operator, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels (including Finished Goods, Work In Progress, Maintenance, Repair, and Operations supplies) within our bustling warehouse environment, adhering to established protocols and procedures. Your responsibilities will encompass physical stocking, conducting inventory audits, receiving shipments, packaging for dispatch, and executing necessary ERP transactions.

Compensation:
$19/hr - $21/hr based on experience

Work Schedule:
1st Shift - 8:00am - 5:00pm

Overtime may be required as necessary.

To excel in this position, you must be capable of effectively performing each essential task. The following duties are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

  • Conducts quality inspections on incoming materials in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Handles loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
  • Maintains organization within the stockroom.
  • Performs daily and quarterly inventory counts.
  • Applies logical reasoning to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic formats.
  • Exhibits professional conduct that fosters teamwork and enhances overall productivity.
  • Adheres to established work rules and procedures.
  • Collaborates with shipping and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Works with internal departments to ensure materials are accurately labeled, allocated, scrapped, or issued to work orders.
  • Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to transport materials.
  • Maintains an accurate and updated record of stock and inventory.
  • Trains team members on material handling and inventory counting procedures.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in material handling is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in a warehouse setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting tasks.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a distribution environment, including receiving, returns, inventory management, and shipping.
  • Familiarity with QAD enterprise software or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
