About the Role

PharmaCann is seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operations Manager and Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience working in warehouse operations and inventory management. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direction and training to Warehouse Coordinators and Material Handlers
  • Receiving and inspecting delivered supplies, materials, and equipment, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
  • Monitoring inventory levels and working with the purchasing team to forecast future requirements
  • Managing and processing all packaging requirements
  • Organizing and maintaining warehouse and outside parameters for efficient material storage and handling
  • Assisting in conducting quarterly or annual inventory audits
  • Operating forklifts and other necessary vehicles and equipment to handle receiving or issuing materials

Purchase Order and Inventory Management

The successful candidate will also be responsible for coordinating inventory requirements and procurement details with vendors and customers, issuing supplies, materials, and equipment to department managers, and creating/submitting purchase requisitions and orders as needed.

Reporting and Analysis

Our ideal candidate will conduct inventory auditing on a regular basis, identify purchasing trends, and report on inventory surplus, product returns, and any damages.

Technical Skills

The Warehouse Operations Manager and Logistics Coordinator will utilize company systems to properly account for issues, returns, and receipt of new material and associated back-orders.

Project Management

The successful candidate will develop and manage inventory-related projects, including defining project scope, resources, and achieving deliverables.

Working Conditions

The Warehouse Operations Manager and Logistics Coordinator will work in a typical office, manufacturing, retail, and warehouse environment, and will be required to move about the facility, lift and move up to 75 pounds regularly, and work on a computer for extended periods of time.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of two years of experience working in warehouse operations and inventory management, and a minimum of one year of experience with forklift operation. A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred, and APICS certification is also preferred.
