Product Professional

Discover Financial Services is seeking a highly skilled Product Professional to join our team. As a Product Professional, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of our products and driving innovation on platforms that improve customer experience, meet customer needs, and create business value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain a product backlog, prioritizing items to achieve business objectives and key results (OKRs).
  • Ensure product features and processes align with applicable regulatory, compliance, and risk management standards.
  • Lead Agile practices, including sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.
  • Define functional and non-functional product requirements, ensuring completeness, integrity, and consistency.
  • Partner with business technology to create technical features that optimize system components and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Manage and communicate scope, deliverables, and timelines of projects and plans.
  • Contribute to product development and vision by connecting customer solutions to business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support go-to-market strategies.
  • Build a culture of accountability and ownership by empowering the product team to make decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Product Management or Engineering experience in Financial Services or Tech Industry, or related.
  • Agile certification, data analysis experience, and financial services experience are a plus.

  • Competitive base pay, ranging from $100,000 to $139,000.
