Radiologic Technologist II

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Competently perform radiology procedures to produce accurate and high-quality images
- Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment
- Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
- May assist in orienting new staff members to the department and performing specific procedures
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist certification and CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) licensure
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
- RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy certification within 180 days of hire (if required)
- 2 years of recent relevant experience
- General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment
- Ability to perform routine radiographic examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills
- General knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems
This is a per diem/casual position with varied shifts and rotating weekends. The pay range is $60.81 to $76.00 per hour, and the salary range may vary based on location.
