Job Summary

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist II to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Competently perform radiology procedures to produce accurate images
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient privacy and safety
  • May assist in orienting new staff members to the department

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
  • ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist certification
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist certification (from the state where work is being performed)
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy certification (within 180 days of hire if required)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of recent relevant experience
  • General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment:

This is a per diem/casual position with varied shift hours and rotating weekends. The pay range for this role is $60.81 to $76.00 per hour.
