Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform radiology procedures to produce accurate and high-quality images.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
  • May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department.
Requirements
  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent education/experience.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider upon hire.
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire if required at the affiliate.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years recent relevant experience.
  • General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Ability to perform routine radiographic examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally.
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures.
