Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Sanitation Specialist to enhance our team. Your role will be vital in ensuring a pristine dining experience by efficiently managing the cleaning of kitchen utensils and service ware, while also assisting in maintaining tidy workspaces and restaurant equipment. You will excel in a fast-paced setting, adeptly handling multiple tasks with a keen eye for detail, contributing to a collaborative and positive team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean pots, pans, and trays while ensuring silverware is polished
  • Sort and dispose of waste, placing it in appropriate receptacles
  • Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors, and washing work surfaces, walls, and refrigerators
  • Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; restock items for subsequent shifts
  • Monitor the dining area and collect any used room service or bar trays
  • Keep temperature logs and organize the walk-in cooler/freezer
  • Assist in clearing tables
  • Support line cooks in the proper preparation, storage, and dating of food items
Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with food service regulations is preferred
  • Proficient in using hand tools or machinery required for the role
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment
  • Able to lift, carry, or maneuver heavy objects
  • Willing to stand for extended periods
  • Skilled in prioritizing, organizing, and managing various tasks
