Job Overview

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the accounting team by managing a diverse range of daily financial operations, including credit card reconciliations, accounts payable, expense management, receipt verification, data entry, internal reporting, and various administrative duties.
This position is vital in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures across all accounting functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:


• Credit Card Reconciliation – Assist the accounting team with high-volume credit card account reconciliations. This task requires precision and analytical skills across multiple software platforms to meet essential month-end deadlines.


• Receipt Management – Proactively identify any missing transactions necessary for credit card reconciliations. Engage with employees regarding expense documentation and receipts, ensuring all receipts are uploaded and matched in the expense tracking system.


• Expense Review and Allocation – Investigate source documentation for receipts, focusing on detailed matching of transactions with receipts in accounting software.


• Accounts Payable Support – Provide assistance with accounts payable functions and vendor communications as required.


• Data Exporting to QuickBooks Desktop – Aid the accounting department in accurate data exports between various software systems and QuickBooks using Transaction Pro. This role demands critical thinking, strong problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.


• Financial Reporting and Data Entry – Generate revenue and transaction reports across different software applications and perform financial data entries in QuickBooks.


• Month-End Closing Activities – Execute accounting department procedures in alignment with financial policies and controls. Complete various tasks as necessary to fulfill month-end closing requirements, applying a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles with a keen eye for detail.

QUALIFICATIONS:


• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.


• Resourceful and results-driven, with the capability to navigate challenges effectively.


• Strong integrity and a solid work ethic.


• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.


• Attention to detail to ensure thorough and accurate task completion.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
