The Showroom Manager Sales Manager is a key role at Daltile, responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of a Design Sales team in sales strategies and showroom operations. This position plays a crucial role in driving revenue and customer satisfaction to meet organizational objectives.



Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Strategies: Develop and execute strategies to drive new business and relationships in assigned markets.
  • Lead and Develop Associates: Recruit, train, lead, and develop associates in all areas of job-specific responsibilities.
  • Define Goals and Objectives: Clearly define goals and objectives for Showroom personnel to measure performance and regularly communicate these objectives to personnel.
  • Client Log and Communication: Log all client showroom visits, contact information, and customer preference and selection notes in CMT.
  • Showroom Promotion: Promote the showroom through all aspects of marketing/media and events to optimize exposure.
  • Maintenance and Updates: Maintain and update design aid tools that help secure customer sales.
  • Sales Calls and Follow-ups: Make outside sales calls and follow up on leads as needed.
  • Gallery Operations: Responsible for the safe operations of the Gallery, including proper opening and closing of the store.
  • Event Planning: Plan and host events to draw new customers into the Showroom.
  • Showroom Maintenance: Maintain showroom samples and merchandising.
  • Networking and Promotion: Attend industry-related events to network and promote the showroom.
  • Decision Making: Make decisions on behalf of the team within the parameters of the unit or sub-unit.
  • Policy Recommendations: Recommend changes to unit or sub-unit policies.
  • Team Direction: Provide direction to the team according to established policies and management guidance.
  • Schedule Oversight: Oversee day-to-day work schedules and plans.
  • Problem Resolution: Act as an advisor to unit or sub-units and may become actively involved in resolving problems.
  • Decision Making: Exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies.
  • Situation Analysis: Review relevant factors to analyze situations and resolve issues.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as needed.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 6-8 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Management Experience: 1-3 years of management experience.
  • Specialized Expertise: Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.
  • Team Focus: Focused on and responsible for their team's productivity and collective impact.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Time Management: Able to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and manage time effectively.
  • Integrity: High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Microsoft Office: Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Flexibility: Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
  • Professionalism: High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
  • Direct Reports: This role will be responsible for direct reports.
  • Travel Requirements: Travel is required approximately 50% of the time.
  • Lifting Ability: The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
