We have four offices located in Santa Barbara, Oxnard, Santa Maria, and Bakersfield, and we're committed to providing our patients with the highest quality care.

About the Job

This is a full-time position working in person, with a competitive salary of $62,000 - $72,000 per year, plus benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of medical billing, including posting insurance and patient payments, auditing insurance payments, and billing per guidelines.

This role requires a high level of proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and billing software, as well as EMR systems. The ideal candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to successfully communicate with patients, insurance carriers, providers, and staff. Ability to maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA laws.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
  • Experience with Athena preferred
