Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Associate to serve as the Assistant Lead for our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. The ideal candidate will have experience providing mental health and substance abuse treatment to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Confidential Assessments: Conduct behavioral health assessments to determine the appropriate level of care for clients in permanent supportive housing units.
  • Develop Solution-Focused Treatment Plans: Elicit client participation in the development of a solution-focused treatment plan to address important goals, objectives, and interventions.
  • Provide Counseling Services: Participate in individual counseling and group counseling to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Document Client Progress: Complete collaborative documentation to track client progress and outcomes.
  • Identify and Prevent Crises: Identify potential crises and provide intervention to prevent harm to clients or others.
  • Participate in Staff Meetings and Training: Attend staff meetings, case conferences, and training programs to increase skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Associate: Must be licensed in a mental health field, such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Counseling.
  • Experience in Mental Health Treatment: At least one year of post-master's experience providing mental health and substance abuse treatment.
  • Knowledge of Chronically Mentally Ill Population: Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in working with individuals with serious and persistent mental illness.
