About the Role

The Principal Product Manager, Mainframe as a Service is a key role responsible for managing our suite of Mainframe infrastructure managed services and the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) products that our customers leverage within their organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete product experience, leading all aspects of the product's journey - defining the product strategy, positioning, competitive analysis, and differentiation.
  • Grow the Mainframe as a Services portfolio by leveraging business and technical experience.
  • Develop product requirement MVPs; working in collaboration with key stakeholders including clients to prioritize and validate technology, features, product strategy and direction.
  • Lead product launches and new product introductions working with Sales & Marketing using market-driven product data and competitive intelligence.
  • Develop data-driven product positioning, pricing, value propositions, content creation, and messaging that reflects target markets and target personas working with Product Marketing.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of first-hand experience mainframes, IBM and ISV (eg, Broadcom) software products.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience working for a Managed IT Service, Mainframe outsourcer, and/or Hosting Provider.
  • 7+ years' experience in product management and offer commercialization at a service provider.
  • A bachelor's degree in business or economics or equivalent experience.
