As a Wok Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality Beijing Style cuisine using traditional wok cooking techniques. Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes using wok cooking techniques.
  • Recipe Adherence: Follow recipes and cooking methods to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work station.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages to the kitchen manager.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to company standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and improve existing ones.
  • Safety and Regulations: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of wok cooking techniques and Chinese cuisine.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
