Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and associated Nuclear Medicine equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize radiopharmaceuticals and associated Nuclear Medicine equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic studies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients undergoing Nuclear Medicine procedures.
- Conduct quality control checks on equipment and supplies to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved school of Radiology Sciences with certification in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent education/experience.
- National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
- 1 year working as a staff Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
