Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence Health & Service, you will utilize radiopharmaceuticals and associated Nuclear Medicine equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic studies. This role requires a strong understanding of Nuclear Medicine principles and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
- Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment, including cameras and scanners
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely results
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments
Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved school of Radiology Sciences with certification in Nuclear Medicine
- National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- 1 year working as a staff Nuclear Medicine Technologist
