Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist to join our team at the Alaska Heart Institute. As a key member of our Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures and providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and inject radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging
  • Receive and record information regarding receipt of radioactive materials
  • Perform quality assurance procedures on all equipment
  • Process diagnostic images and prepare reports for cardiologists
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of nuclear medicine technology
  • Minimum of one year experience in nuclear medicine
  • Current registration for ARRT or NMTCB
  • Current BLS certification and ACLS preferred
