Job Description

Revere Electric Supply Company, a leading electrical automation distributor and market leader, is seeking an Automation Support Specialist for Rockwell Automation PAC / PLC / IO / HMI / Software and related products.

This individual will join a team of over 25 Automation Specialists that cover all Rockwell and Technology Partnering products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support:
    • Provide technical support for internal resources and customers.
    • Identify and resolve technology issues for customer applications.
    • Assist all Revere roles with any related technical support.
  • Sales Support:
    • Prepare quotes/BOMs for customer applications.
    • Prepare demos for customer engagements.
    • Track Revere demo assets.
    • Support Customer Experience environments at Revere locations.
  • Customer Facing:
    • Support sales activity by accurately and swiftly identifying the appropriate steps to take for the resolution of customer issues.
    • Discuss product capabilities to customers.
    • Promote the value-add of assigned products in competitive situations.

Qualifications:

  • Four-year engineering/technical degree preferred.
  • Proficient within assigned product groups.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the Industrial Automation market is preferred.
  • Team-oriented individual who strives for customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient with Windows-based operation systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated.
