This individual will provide technical support for our internal resources and customers, focusing on Rockwell Automation products and related solutions.

The Automation Support Specialist will be the first point of contact for technical inquiries, working closely with our Product Specialist team to resolve customer application issues. This role is an in-office position with occasional customer site visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support:
    • Provide expert technical support for customer applications, identifying and resolving issues related to Rockwell Automation products.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless support for customers.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and product developments to maintain technical competency.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Support sales activities by accurately identifying and resolving customer issues.
    • Communicate product capabilities and value-add to customers through various channels.
    • Promote assigned products in competitive situations, highlighting their benefits and features.

Requirements:

  • Four-year engineering or technical degree preferred; technical associate degree and applicable experience considered.
  • Proficient in assigned product groups, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the Industrial Automation market.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Proficient in Windows-based operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
