Job Summary:

Christus Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality vascular sonography examinations to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive vascular sonography examinations, including cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vessels, to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
  • Maintain a high level of competency in performing vascular sonography in all age groups, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in vascular sonography technology and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Allied Health program in radiologic technology or an AA in diagnostic medical sonography.
  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Vascular Sonographer (VS) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Minimum 1 year of scanning experience in abdomen, with a strong background in vascular sonography.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
