Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager - Sr. Buyer to join our team at The Bergaila Companies. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing Production Operations contracts and corresponding Procurement Strategies for domestic oil and gas assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Execute new contracts, term extensions, commercial amendments, and terminate non-utilized contracts.
  • Purchase Order Management: Write Purchase Orders, Service Orders, and Blanket Orders to document transaction details and ensure contingencies are addressed.
  • Contract Negotiation: Prepare, submit, and negotiate contract terms and conditions with Legal's support.
  • Sourcing and Value Creation: Drive collaboration efforts with business and functional leadership to establish and execute Field Production Operations sourcing and value creation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with internal stakeholders on strategy, policies, procedures, guidelines, and processes related to Field Production Operations.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Drive corporate compliance to the preferred vendor program via end-user change management and communications programs.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert regarding contractual and financial aspects of service contracts.
  • Full Life Cycle Management: Manage the full life cycle for Production Operations by advising on the best fit vendor, executing work order documents, evaluating vendor performance.
  • Vendor Management: Act as the central point of contact between business unit proponents, vendor representatives, and other key stakeholders.
  • Supplier Qualification: Pre-qualify new and re-qualify existing Suppliers, ensuring full compliance with the HES Contractor Safety Program.
  • ERP System Management: Work in multiple ERP Systems modules, including Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Supplier Registration, Sourcing Strategy, Contract Development and implementation, Supplier Performance, and Contract Close out.
  • Internal Audit and Compliance: Monitor assigned contracts to ensure suppliers comply with terms and conditions.
