**Piping Foreman Role Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Foreman to oversee and coordinate activities within our piping department. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of our industrial construction projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Scope Review: Thoroughly review scope documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure project accuracy.
  • Project Execution: Study project execution and tracking documents, including the project execution plan, project safety plan, QA/QC plan, schedule, and man loading projections.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in project kick-off and team building activities to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Project Interface: Ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule by interfacing with the Superintendent and adhering to company, client, and project policies.
  • Crew Management: Provide leadership and management for craftsmen, organizing and laying out work for crews to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Materials and Resources: Ensure materials, drawings, manpower, specifications, tools, consumables, and equipment are available when needed.
  • Work Instructions: Provide prioritized work activity instructions to all crews and monitor their progress to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Safety and Compliance: Assist with the implementation and interpretation of safety programs, ensuring compliance with ASME, ANSI, and associated codes as required per project.
  • Craft Development: Mentor craft personnel for professional development, determining training needs and assisting them in obtaining necessary training.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience: Five (5) years of formal training and experience as a foreman in heavy industrial projects.
  • Skills: Familiarity with construction methods, techniques, and labor requirements, as well as the ability to effectively interact with project team members, clients, subcontractors, and craft employees.
  • Leadership: Possess excellent leadership skills and can effectively manage craft employees.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of OSHA safety rules, OSHA 30 preferred.
  • Technology: Ability to use MS Office to include Outlook email.
