As a Periodontic Treatment Coordinator, you will be responsible for greeting patients with a smile, coordinating patient check-in and check-out, answering phones, and scheduling appointments with a positive attitude. You will review upcoming schedules, audit accounts as needed, and oversee the schedule of staff, doctors, and patients.
You will collect balances and verify insurance when needed. Present accurate patient treatment plans, determine insurance coverage, and patient financial responsibility for procedures. Assist with insurance pre-authorizations and review finance options with patients. You must be proficient in periodontics coding and insurance billing. Perform all duties relating to supporting the office. Maintain flexibility regarding scheduling changes, communicating changes to patients and staff. All other duties assigned.
