Job Overview

Clarke is currently looking for a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. This role involves executing warehouse functions related to shipping and receiving operations.

The typical work schedule is from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime based on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process orders and picklists by retrieving stock
  • Organize LTL and truckload shipments
  • Prepare daily shipments for FedEx small packages
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments
  • Ensure sufficient inventory levels are maintained
  • Conduct quality checks on goods
  • Deliver packages to internal departments
  • Utilize barcode scanners for inventory management
  • Maintain a tidy and safe workspace by checking equipment, ensuring proper labeling, and reporting safety issues to the Supervisor

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is essential
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)
  • Able to lift weights of 50-60 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance
  • 1-3 years of experience operating standup reach forklifts (Crown Lift Truck preferred) and sit-down forklifts
  • Capable of loading and unloading heavy pallets using a stand-up reach truck into racks up to 24 feet high, and working in a chemical environment (Hazmat experience is a plus)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work setting
