About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our research team at Saint Louis University. The successful candidate will have a strong background in biophysics, biomedical engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities
  • Design and execute experiments to investigate the rheological properties of cancer cells
  • Develop and implement novel laboratory protocols to advance our understanding of mechanobiology
  • Collaborate with students and staff to train and mentor in scientific writing, presenting, and critical evaluation of literature
  • Assist with grant preparation and writing reports
  • Manage lab inventory and place orders as needed
Qualifications

A Ph.D. in biophysics, biomedical engineering, biology, or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will have experience with cell culture, flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, and live imaging.
