Hepatology Transplant Specialist

This position is designed for a trainee who has completed internal medicine and gastroenterology fellowship programs. The goal is to gain additional training in transplant hepatology.
The ACGME-certified program will provide inpatient and outpatient experiences with transplant surgery, transplant hepatology, general hepatology, pathology, abdominal radiology, and interventional radiology. The fellow will also have the opportunity to develop clinical research projects.
Key aspects of the program include:
* Performing endoscopy 1/2 day a week
* Qualifying for the certificate of added qualification in transplant hepatology board examination
* Developing clinical research projects
This diverse training program is intended to help create and train future physician clinical scientists and transplant hepatology experts.
