We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pre Post Op department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition for patients undergoing surgery.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and provide patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Assume individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care for geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric patients
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree
  • Minimum 1 year of pre-op or PACU experience
  • Strong IV skills required
