Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pre Post Op team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and assume individual responsibility for the provision of nursing care for geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and provide patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, and generic and unit structure standards.
  • Assume individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) diploma or Associate Degree required.
  • Minimum 1 year of pre op or PACU experience required.
  • Strong IV skills required.
