We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a RN Pre Post Op, you will provide high-quality patient care and assume individual responsibility for the provision of nursing care for geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and provide patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, and generic and unit structure standards.
- Assume individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care.
- Work under the general direction of the Clinical Manager/Director.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse diploma or Associate Degree.
- Minimum 1 year of pre-op or PACU experience.
- Strong IV skills required.
