We are seeking a highly skilled Leasing Operations Specialist to join our dynamic Centralized Operations team at Elmington. As a key member of this innovative team, you will play a pivotal role in driving leasing efforts while ensuring strict compliance across our affordable housing communities nationwide.

In this position, you will work closely with our team to leverage your expertise in Leasing and LIHTC programs, streamlining communication and the application process to efficiently achieve leasing and compliance targets. Your contributions will directly impact the success of multiple properties as you assist with aligning leasing and occupancy rates with broader financial objectives.

About the Role
  • Leasing Expertise: With minimum 1 year of experience in property management and/or customer service focused call center, you will be responsible for lead generation and follow-up, converting leads into successful leases.
  • Customer-Centric: Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and quick responses to inquiries, ensuring a supportive and engaging experience for prospective residents.
  • Detail-Oriented: Manage complex documentation and compliance requirements with precision, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness in all tasks.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient with property management software, CRM systems, and digital communication tools, with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive thinker who can offer solutions to challenges related to leasing, compliance, and resident concerns.

Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to new lead inquiries via phone, email, text, and live chat in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Provide potential residents with accurate information about available apartment homes, leasing terms, and application processes.
  3. Assist applicants in filling out their rental applications and explain the required documentation to ensure that all necessary documents are submitted for compliance review.
  4. Communicate with applicants to collect missing documents and follow up regularly on outstanding items required for the application and compliance processes.
  5. Provide regular updates on the progress of applications and compliance reviews. Communicate any issues or delays and offer guidance to help applicants resolve concerns.
  6. Work closely with Centralized File Reviewers to ensure all applications are thoroughly reviewed and meet regulatory requirements.
  7. Log all communications and updates in the company's CRM system, ensuring accurate record-keeping for each applicant and interaction.

Salary Estimate: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards. Compensation is competitive, and we offer a range of benefits to support your career growth and well-being.

Location: This position is based at our Nashville, TN corporate office. Occasional travel (up to 10% annually) may be required.
