- Ability to Work Under Pressure: Remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, making quick and responsible decisions to ensure the safety of others.
- Communication and Record-Keeping: Effectively communicate with colleagues and management, maintaining accurate records of incidents and other relevant information.
- Previous Lifeguarding Experience: Possess previous experience as a lifeguard, demonstrating a strong understanding of lifeguarding principles and techniques.
- Current Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification: Hold a current Red Cross Lifeguarding certification, ensuring that you are up-to-date with the latest lifeguarding techniques and protocols.

Compensation and BenefitsThe hourly rate for this position is $15.95. Lewis & Clark College offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 403(b) retirement plan.
